Fantasy Football: 3 Quarterback Streamer Options for Week 10

Streaming quarterbacks remains an integral part of fantasy football for those who were willing to wait on the position in favor of loading up their lineups in drafts.

It's not always the preferred option as putting top-shelf guys in your lineup and forgetting it is always nice, but you can get some great value on the waiver wire each week to start at the position, keeping you competitive on a week-to-week basis.

Whether it's 10-team or 12-team leagues, there are going to be options out there to choose from.

When it comes to streaming a quarterback, there are multiple factors in play with none being more important than the defense they're opposing. From there, you can look at the situation they're in, what they've been doing as of late, and more. All of this matters -- especially when you're trying to find points at the most important position in football.

With a new injury to quarterbacks every week and a bye week resulting in Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, and Tua Tagovailoa being off, streamers will be incredibly important once again. Here are the top quarterback streamers to consider for Week 10.

Week 10 Quarterback Streamers

Will Levis, Tennessee Titans

Week 10 Opponent: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

After his second career start, it appears that Will Levis is the real deal -- even after a tough Thursday Night Football loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Levis went 22-for-39, throwing for 262 yards and an interception. The numbers don't jump off the page like his four-touchdown day in Week 8, but his play gave the Tennessee Titans a chance to win -- the most important factor when it comes to Mike Vrabel picking his starting quarterback.

The main reason we're firing up the rookie is that the matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is too good to pass up.

Tampa Bay just allowed C.J. Stroud to throw for a rookie record 470 passing yards and 5 touchdowns, translating to a whopping 41.8 fantasy points. The Buccaneers had no answer for Stroud and could be reeling long enough for Levis to have his own fun.

Overall on the season, the Buccaneers are allowing 296.1 passing yards and 1.63 touchdowns per game, which is good for the third-most points per game for signal-callers (20.2).

Levis still has more to show to be anywhere close to a weekly play, but after what he's shown through two weeks, roll him out there against the Buccaneers as he gets closer and closer to earning the job full-time.

If Ryan Tannehill is at the helm, he's still worth consideration as a streamer, as well.

Joshua Dobbs, Minnesota Vikings

Week 10 Opponent: New Orleans Saints

What a year it's been for Joshua Dobbs, and his Week 9 performance summarizes it all almost perfectly.

Dobbs was traded to the Minnesota Vikings earlier in the week and once again had to play a game this season where he barely knew his teammates' names. After Jaren Hall got a concussion early on, Dobbs was thrown into action with minimal knowledge of the playbook. And yet he managed to lead the Vikings to a comeback 31-28 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

The journeyman quarterback finished 20-for-30 with 158 yards and 2 touchdowns. He added 66 rush yards and another touchdown on seven carries, leading the Vikings in rushing. He finished with 24.9 fantasy points, the fifth-most of any quarterback in Week 9 despite not starting the game.

As we've seen all season with Dobbs, he's a quarterback who can be a great streamer option, and now he plays for an even better team than he did before. Not only should he be streamed this week, but he should be in consideration for weekly starts thanks to the damage he can do to his legs. This is why we are recommending him for such a tough Week 10 despite the New Orleans Saints being a tough game for most.

The Saints are allowing just 13.9 fantasy points per game to signal-callers, which is the eighth-best defense in these terms. We're not too worried about this matchup, however, as Tyson Bagent recorded 18.8 fantasy points against the Saints this past week.

A total like that is all we're looking for out of an option like Dobbs, so there's no reason to sweat as Dobbs only gets more comfortable with a week of practice.

The 5-4 Vikings are in a position to make the playoffs after winning four straight games, and Dobbs is going to have the chance to run this talented offense.

Taylor Heinicke, Atlanta Falcons

Week 10 Opponent: Arizona Cardinals

Taylor Heinicke has been named the starting quarterback for Week 10, making him an option for any team that needs a streamer.

In his first start for the Atlanta Falcons, Heinicke finished with 268 passing yards, a touchdown, and an interception while putting together 15.7 fantasy points.

The final stat line isn't an exciting one by any stretch, but it's good enough -- especially with the offensive weapons that Heinicke has around him. He's a matchup-based play, which is why we are looking his way against the Arizona Cardinals.

Arizona has allowed the ninth-most points to opposing quarterbacks at a 18.1 clip. Passers are putting up 243.7 passing yards and 1.56 touchdowns per game against them, something that is surely doable for Heinicke this weekend.

The 30-year-old made nine starts for the Washington Commanders last season. He averaged 260.1 and 1.3 totals in yards and touchdowns. If he's able to replicate that, we'll take it.

If you're in a 12-team league or more, Heinicke is worth rolling out there for the week.
