Finding fantasy football production late in your draft can give you a leg up.

While there are some high-upside quarterbacks going in the early rounds -- nine passers are being taken in the top 63 overall picks, per FantasyPros' average draft position (ADP) data for one-quarterback leagues -- waiting to take a quarterback is still a viable option.

If you are targeting a late-round QB, here are three signal-callers to have on your radar.

Fantasy Football: Late-Round Quarterbacks to Target

Jayden Daniels, Commanders

ADP: QB14 (97th overall)

If you've seen Jayden Daniels play football, then his fantasy upside is pretty obvious. In a time when most quarterbacks need to possess some running ability to be a top-notch fantasy asset, Daniels checks that box loudly and clearly.

Last season at LSU, Daniels rushed for 1,134 yards and 10 scores. He totaled 885 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns in 2022. He should immediately offer rushing juice in the NFL, and that raises both his floor and his ceiling in fantasy.

The Washington Commanders are also an appealing situation. Just a year ago, the receiver duo of Jahan Dotson and Terry McLaurin helped Sam Howell finish as the fantasy QB12. In addition to that, Washington added running back Austin Ekeler, one of the top pass-game RBs in the league.

There's a chance for Daniels to be a QB1 (top-12) in 2024, and the rushing upside is through the roof. He's easy to like at his QB14 ADP.

Caleb Williams, Bears

ADP: QB17 (108th overall)

Another rookie with upside, Caleb Williams is a little tougher sell than Daniels is solely because Williams doesn't have the same level of rushing ability. But what Williams has is a superb supporting cast around him, and it's not like he's a zero as a runner.

With D.J. Moore, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze at receiver, Williams is getting to start his NFL career with some pretty dope weapons. He's also got a quality tight end in Cole Kmet and some good options in the backfield between D'Andre Swift, Roschon Johnson and Khalil Herbert.

On top of that, Williams is playing behind an offensive line that PFF ranks 11th-best.

As for the running ability, Williams can move even if he's not a huge scrambler. In college, he ran for only 146 yards last season but racked up 442 and 382 yards the two years prior. He showed a knack for scoring touchdowns, amassing 27 rushing scores across his three college seasons.

Mostly an afterthought in one-quarterback leagues, Williams' talent and situation make him an appealing late-round QB.

Kirk Cousins, Falcons

ADP: QB18 (118th overall)

Kirk Cousins had his 2023 campaign cut short, but prior to getting injured, Cousins was balling out and ended up as the QB7 by points per game (19.4).

Now, Cousins is with the Atlanta Falcons, and while he no longer has Justin Jefferson at his disposal, Cousins has a deep group of weapons, highlighted by Drake London, Bijan Robinson and Kyle Pitts. It's not just the skill positions, either, as PFF ranks Atlanta's offensive line as the sixth-best unit.

The big negative with Cousins is a lack of rushing, something that his 2023 Achilles injury isn't going to help. That means he's got to do it all through the air, and that's a tall task.

But something Cousins has going for him is an easy schedule. Based on 2024 win totals, the Falcons have the NFL's easiest schedule.

With playmakers around him and a soft schedule, Cousins can come good in Year 1 in Atlanta. In one-quarterback formats, he's probably best suited to be a streamer, but he looks like a rock-solid QB2 for superflex leagues.
