Positional Breakdown

Forwards/Midfielders

At the top of this position, Cole Palmer ($23, +140 to Score) carries the highest salary. However, I'd prefer to go down to Son Heung-min ($22, -110) or Alexander Isak ($22, -110) as they are both playing for home favorites with better odds of scoring.

Tottenham is my favorite team to target on this slate, seeing how they are the biggest favorite and also in the game with the best chance of having more than 2.5 goals. Besides Son, Richarlison ($19, -110) -- if he starts -- is a nice option as he has the same goal-scoring odds as the South Korean superstar.

We've also seen James Maddison ($16, +175) have a significant drop in salary, and he will still at least get a share of set pieces if he's in the lineup. That gives him the opportunity to contribute to a goal as well as rack up crosses and chances created.

The next team to target is Everton. Now, that might not sound like the most exciting idea, but they are playing Sheffield United -- the worst defensive team in Premier League history.

Dwight McNeil ($20, +200) isn't the best goal scorer but still averages 19.4 FanDuel points per game despite having only nine goal contributions all season. He gets fantasy points through crosses, and with Sheffield United's propensity to allow goals, he has a high ceiling.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin ($19, +105) is the guy I would pair with McNeil to create a nice Everton stack in this matchup.

Other players on Newcastle besides Isak who make sense are Anthony Gordon ($21, +155) and two value options in Jacob Murphy ($15, +340) and Harvey Barnes ($13, +170). If Murphy and Barnes are in the starting lineup, stacking both of them with Gordon or Isak is an interesting route to go.

West Ham is an interesting team to stack. They're at home against Luton, who have allowed the most expected goals (xG) in the Premier League, per FBRef. Jarrod Bowen ($19, +135) has recorded more than 40 FanDuel points in two of his last five games, and he is be the main piece from West Ham that I'll be after. Mohammed Kudus ($16, +210) is an emerging talent, and I'd be willing to take a shot on him at this salary.

Added time -- There are some usable players for $13 and under. My favorites are Danny Welbeck ($13, +290), Will Hughes ($12, +700), Cameron Archer ($11, +360) and Albert Sambi Lokonga ($10, +1500).

Defenders

Pedro Porro ($15, +150 to Score or Assist) is tied for the highest salary among defenders, and it's easy to see why. He's on the team we want to target most and has been on corner-kick duty lately. He has at least seven crosses in four of his past five games.

Alfie Doughty ($14, +220) continues to deliver, with 16 crosses and six chances created last match. He now has 317 crosses, 95 more than any other player in the league.

Marc Cucurella ($12, +380) is in good form for Chelsea, with at least 13 FanDuel points in his last five matches.

Tino Livaremento ($12, +320) will bomb forward for Newcastle like Kieran Trippier did but without the set pieces. He has more than 19 FanDuel points in each of his last two games, so he is thriving in this role. You can also play Lewis Hall ($10, +175), who should also start and has a friendly salary.

Ashley Young ($11, +250) is a good option to pair with some Everton players and could get the clean-sheet bonus against Sheffield United.

Two full backs who are good values for under $10 are Adam Smith ($9, +480) and Rayan Ait-Nouri ($9, +240).

Added time -- If you need even more salary savings, there are a plethora of $8 options. Vitinho ($8, +500) never seems to get a salary hike but contributes on both ends of the pitch. Mads Roerslev ($8, +500) and Gonzalo Montiel ($8, +500) are also good if you're looking towards the bottom of the barrel.

Goalies

Guglielmo Vicario ($14) has the best chance to win, but I'd like a little bit better than +220 clean-sheet odds if I'm using $14 in salary on a keeper.

Jordan Pickford ($12) plays against a team that's already been relegated and has wins and clean sheets in three of his last four matches.

Crystal Palace have conceded the fourth-fewest xG in the league, so I like the idea of getting Dean Henderson ($10) for a decent salary.

A case could be made that Brentford are a better team than Bournemouth, so Mark Flekken ($8) can be rostered.

Added time -- If you don't buy into the fact that Everton will score a lot of goals, Wes Foderingham ($6) is a good value option.
