Euro 2024 Betting Picks and Prop Bets for Sunday 6/23/24

The 2024 UEFA European Football Championship -- also known as Euro 2024 -- is here, and it should be a fun tournament.

FanDuel Sportsbook's Euro 2024 odds offer a variety of ways to get in on the action, including betting lines for each match.

Let's take a look at the best bets for Sunday's matches.

All Euro 2024 odds come from FanDuel Sportsbook and may change after this article is published.

Euro 2024 Betting Picks

Switzerland vs. Germany (3 PM ET)

Germany Moneyline (-145)

The Germans are looking to have a perfect group stage to give themselves the platform to build on in the knockout round. This game will be their toughest test yet, but they should have enough to get the job done.

Germany has played well in the first two games, arguably better than anyone in the tournament. They have scored seven goals and conceded just one. In terms of expected goals (xG), they have a +2.2 differential in the tournament.

This third match of the tournament will be against Switzerland, who are also unbeaten in their two matches. They beat Hungary 3-1 in their first match but had a draw with Scotland in their second. That game was slightly disappointing, as they had just a 1.1-0.7 xG advantage against a Scotland team that they are better than.

Germany may use this game to rotate their lineup, but that does seem to be priced into this line already. They likely won't make too many changes, as these matches are their first competitive fixtures since the World Cup in 2022.

The Germans should be able to get the job done, so at just -145, I like betting on them in this spot.

Scotland vs. Hungary (3 PM ET)

Scotland Moneyline (+160)

At the bottom of Group A, we have Scotland and Hungary. With their one point, Scotland still have a possibility to qualify for the knockout round if they can get the win in this match.

Scotland's second game against Switzerland gives us reasons for hope in this game. As mentioned, the xG was close, and Scotland actually had more shots than the Swiss.

This was obviously much better than their first match against Germany, which they lost 5-1. They fixed their formation, no longer having John McGinn playing out wide, and shifting him to play more as a forward. He was much more effective, and the whole team was set up to not be overrun in midfield like they were in the first game.

Hungary played better than Scotland against Germany, but the Scots played much better against Switzerland than Hungary did.

There is little chance this match will end in a draw because both teams need a win to have any chance of qualifying. I like Scotland's chances of getting an early goal and keeping things tight enough to get the win in this match.

Prop Bets

Jamal Musiala to Score or Assist (+135): This tournament could be a coming out party for Jamal Musiala, and he has excelled so far.

Musiala has a goal in both of the first two matches. He doesn't have a fantastic goal scoring record for either club or country, as he is more of a creative dribbler than a pure goal scorer. That's why we'll go for any goal contribution at these odds.

Last game, Musiala took two corner kicks. That adds to his potential for an assist. Being arguably the most important player in Germany's attack, these +135 odds are appealing on this bet.

Scott McTominay to Have 3 or More Shots (+150): The formation change for Scotland allowed Scott McTominay to play in a more attacking role. He had four shots against Switzerland, including a goal.

McTominay was Scotland's main man in qualifying, scoring seven goals. He is good in the air, so he can get shots that way. With the lack of a dangerous striker on Scotland, McTominay should be looking to shoot more in this match.
