Emmitt Smith on Tony Pollard's Struggles: "It's All About Mike McCarthy"
When the Dallas Cowboys released running back Ezekiel Elliott this offseason, running back Tony Pollard was expected to continue the impressive play we've seen so far in his career after he ran for over 1,000 yards last season and amassed five yards per carry in three of his first four seasons in the NFL.
That hasn't been the case this season as Pollard is averaging a career-low 3.9 yards per carry and just 60 yards per game.
Hall Of Fame running back Emmitt Smith joined Kay Adams on Friday's Up & Adams show and pointed to head coach Mike McCarthy's usage of the Pro Bowl running back as to why he's struggling.
