As January turns to February, the 2023-24 NCAAM campaign is just over halfway complete.

Soon enough, the conference tournaments will be here, and after, the illustrious March Madness. However, prior to any of that, we still have to crown regular-season winners.

At FanDuel Sportsbook, the college basketball conference betting odds are quickly narrowing. Here is how they look for the Pac-12 conference's MBB regular season winner. Keep in mind: this is the Pac-12's final hoop season before rampant realignment.

Arizona Wildcats (-280)

Year in and year out, U of A is consistently a premiere basketball program on the West Coast. Of course, Arizona is once again pacing the Pac-12 in the men's game. The Wildcats have played to a 15-5 overall record in 2023-24 that includes 6-3 in conference play.

Head coach Tommy Lloyd is in his third year with 'Zona. Through that span, U of A has claimed one regular season title (2021-22). With fellow Pac-12-powerhouse UCLA in a rare down season, the 'Cats will do all they can to seize the moment.

Arizona is currently holding a one-game lead in the conference with 11 contests remaining. Despite yielding -280 odds at FanDuel Sportsbook to finish the regular season with the Pac-12's best record, the grouping is still very much up for grabs.

The 'Cats have wavered some since commencing conference play. Prior to that, 'Zona had just one loss on the year. Since then, they have suffered losses to Stanford, Washington State and Oregon State. Simply, let's keep an eye on Arizona as they run through their annual opponents a second time around.

Oregon Ducks (+650)

Nipping at the heels of the Wildcats is Oregon. In 2023-24, the Fighting Ducks have competed to a 14-6 record while also going 6-3 in Pac-12 games. Naturally, that leaves them tied with 'Zona in the conference standings.

UO certainly has a solid shot to finish as the top regular season team in their grouping -- a feat they have accomplished in two of the past four seasons -- but they suffered a consequential loss to Arizona at home in their most recent action. The Ducks won't get a chance to avenge the loss until March 2nd in Tucson.

For his 14th season in Eugene, head coach Dana Altman showcases a solid all-around squad at the moment. The Ducks have produced 78.2 PPG this year, which warrants respect, but they have endured a slide as of late. Oregon has dropped three of their most recent four contests, losing to fellow Pac-12 contenders in Colorado, Utah and Arizona.

By this same time next year, UO will be a member of the Big Ten while many of their rivals are headed for either the ACC or Big 12. Undoubtedly, it is the end of an era. If you think the Ducks can win the Pac-12 regular season title one final time, FanDuel Sportsbook has Oregon priced at +650 odds in the market after starting the year here at +950.

Colorado Buffaloes (+650)

Out in Boulder, head coach Tad Boyle is attempting to win at least 20 games for the 10th time in 14 seasons. The Golden Buffaloes failed to so do last year, but they appear reinvigorated in 2023-24, scoring to the tune of 81.3 PPG.

According to the CBB power rankings at numberFire, Colorado (12.94 nERD) is ranked as the second-best men's team among Pac-12 schools, which is also good enough for 21st nationally. Record-wise, CU sits at 15-6 overall, and they're 6-4 in Pac-12 play. At the moment, the Buffs are tied with Washington State for third place in the conference standings.

Colorado has been streaky in the current campaign. They have already sustained a three-game losing streak to conference foes, but CU followed that up by winning four-straight against fellow competition. Still, the Buffs fell short at Wazzu their last time out.

Like Oregon, the Buffaloes currently show +650 odds to win the upcoming Pac-12 regular season title. As noted, that is a lengthy price for being just one-game back in the standings. To the contrary, this is a feat Colorado has never accomplished in 13 seasons as a Pac-12 member.
