Chris Holtmann on Watching Last Season's NCAA Tournament: "It Was Brutal."
Until last season, Chris Holtmann led every single team that he coached to the NCAA Tournament since he was hired at Butler in 2014.
His experience watching March Madness last year after Ohio State finished 16-19 and missed out on the Big Dance was not a fun one.
"It was brutal," Holtmann said on this week's edition of the College Hoops Today Podcast. "It was really hard. There were games going on in our city (Columbus), and that made it even harder."
The good news for Holtmann and the Buckeyes is they're 8-2 entering Saturday's game against UCLA, which is part of the CBS Sports Classic in Atlanta.
Ohio State is currently ranked 29th in the ROTHSTEIN 45.
