Rays-Brewers World Series Game 4 Picks in Summary
- Brewers Moneyline (-124)
- Christian Yelich 2+ Hits + Runs + RBIs (+105)
The Milwaukee Brewers are one win away from a World Series title as they take a 3-0 series lead into Game 4 against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Milwaukee has controlled the series so far and enters Tuesday night with a chance to complete the sweep while Tampa Bay will be trying to extend its season on home soil. The Brewers are expected to lean on their bullpen rather than a traditional starter, which adds another wrinkle to an already intriguing matchup.
With the title potentially on the line, let’s break down the best Brewers-Rays bets and player props for World Series Game 4.

MLB Prediction, Picks: Rays vs. Brewers World Series Game 4
Brewers Moneyline (-124)
Moneyline
A bullpen game normally introduces some uncertainty, but I don't think it's a major negative for the Milwaukee Brewers tonight.
The Brewers are in an ideal spot to piece together nine innings. Robert Gasser handled six frames in Monday's blowout win, and Milwaukee didn't need to use Aaron Ashby, Abner Uribe, Trevor Megill, or JoJo Romero. That gives manager Pat Murphy plenty of flexibility with a chance to clinch the World Series tonight.
Milwaukee has already leaned heavily on this formula in October. Its starters have routinely worked shorter outings, allowing the Brewers to mix and match with a deep bullpen. Ashby, in particular, has emerged as a weapon capable of covering multiple innings, and Milwaukee should have nearly all of its preferred relief options available.
The other side of the pitching matchup is appealing, too. The Tampa Bay Rays are starting Griffin Jax, who has mostly worked relatively short starts this year. Jax posted a 19.2% strikeout rate as a starter in 2026, so Milwaukee should have plenty of chances to put the ball in play.
The Brewers have won the first three games of this series, including a 10-1 victory Monday, and I don't think a bullpen game is enough reason to get away from them. With Milwaukee's best relievers rested, I'll back the Brewers to finish the sweep.
Christian Yelich 2+ Hits + Runs + RBIs (+105)
Christian Yelich gives us a few paths to cash this prop, and he's already been productive throughout the World Series.
Yelich has reached the 2+ H/R/RBI threshold in two of the first three games against Tampa Bay. He also drove in two runs in Monday's Game 3 victory as Milwaukee's offense broke loose for 10 runs.
The matchup with Jax is another reason to like Yelich. The Rays right-hander was much less dominant against left-handed hitters during the regular season, giving up a 36.7% hard-hit rate in the split, compared to a 31.7% hard-hit rate in righty-righty matchups.
Yelich should get at least one crack at Jax before Tampa Bay turns things over to its bullpen. That bullpen could also work in Yelich's favor. Tampa Bay needed five relief innings Monday while several of its relievers have now worked multiple times during the first three games of the series.
With Yelich hitting near the heart of a Milwaukee lineup that has scored 18 runs through three World Series games, I like his chances to amass at least two hits, runs, and RBIs tonight.
MLB Betting Frequently Asked Questions
What are MLB player prop bets?
MLB player prop bets are wagers on specific statistical outcomes tied to individual players during a game — not on which team wins or loses. You might bet on how many strikeouts a starting pitcher records, whether a shortstop gets a hit, or how many total bases an outfielder accumulates.
Because they are isolated to a single player's performance, props let you apply focused knowledge about matchups, recent form, and ballpark conditions rather than predicting the full game result.
What types of MLB player props are available?
FanDuel offers a wide menu of MLB props. The most common categories include:
- Pitcher strikeouts
- Batter hits
- Home runs
- Total bases
- RBIs
- Stolen bases
- Pitcher outs recorded
How do MLB player prop bet odds work?
MLB prop odds use the standard American (moneyline) format. A negative number shows how much you must wager to profit $100. A positive number shows how much a $100 bet returns in profit.
- -110 odds — bet $110 to win $100
- +130 odds — bet $100 to win $130
- -200 odds — bet $200 to win $100
What does "total bases" mean as a prop bet?
The total bases prop counts the bases a batter earns from hits in a single game:
- Single = 1 base
- Double = 2 bases
- Triple = 3 bases
- Home run = 4 bases
Walks, hit-by-pitches, and stolen bases do not count. A typical total bases line is set at 1.5 or 2.5. Betting over 1.5 means you need at least a double, or two singles.
