College basketball hasn't had a team repeat as national champions since Florida did it in 2006 and 2007.
Bill Self thinks that could change this season with UConn.
"They could win it all regardless of matchups," Self said this week on the College Hoops Today Podcast. "They can win it all regardless of foul problems. They're that good. Last year, they weren't just the best team in the country --- they were the best team in the country by a large margin."
Kansas beat UConn, 69-65, on Dec. 1st at Allen Fieldhouse, but the Huskies didn't have five-star freshman Stephon Castle (9.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists) in the lineup due to injury.
The Jayhawks were ranked second in this week's ROTHSTEIN 45 while the Huskies were ranked fifth.
