NFL Player Prop Bets for Week 8
Michael Wilson Over 56.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Cardinals at Cowboys — 1:00 p.m. ET
Michael Wilson - Receiving Yds
The Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys are playing in the highest-totaled game on Sunday's early slate, with FanDuel listing a 54.5-point total. That should create plenty of opportunities for Michael Wilson, whose receiving-yard line is 56.5.
Wilson is averaging 53.6 receiving yards per game this season, but his recent form is more encouraging. He has gone over 54.5 yards in three of his last five games, including 95 yards against the Giants, 89 against the 49ers and 55 against Denver.
As a 7.0-point road ‘dog, the Cardinals also figure to be throwing, which should help keep Wilson involved throughout the afternoon, and that sets up Wilson for a big day against one of the NFL’s worst defenses.
Aaron Rodgers Under 218.5 Passing Yards (-114)
Browns at Steelers — 1:00 p.m. ET
Aaron Rodgers - Passing Yds
The Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers meet in what projects to be one of Sunday's lowest-scoring games, with FanDuel's posting the total at 39.5 points.
Aaron Rodgers has averaged 242.7 passing yards per game this season — well up from his 2025 average of 207.6 yards per game — so this bet is more about the matchup and game environment than his overall production.
He has thrown for 212 yards or fewer in two of his last three games, including just 212 yards in last week's win over New Orleans.
Pittsburgh is also favored by 3.5 points while Cleveland enters with the NFL's 28th-ranked scoring offense at 19.0 points per game. A slower, lower-scoring game would make it more difficult for Rodgers to reach 219 passing yards.
Drake Maye Under 237.5 Passing Yards (-114)
Patriots at Dolphins — 4:25 p.m. ET
Drake Maye - Passing Yds
The New England Patriots travel to face the Miami Dolphins, with FanDuel currently listing Drake Maye at 237.5 passing yards.
The biggest reason I like the under is Maye's home/road splits. He is averaging 272.3 passing yards per game at home this season but only 241.8 on the road. His passer rating also drops dramatically away from Foxborough, from 117.5 at home to 81.7 on the road, while he has thrown seven interceptions in four road games, compared with one in three home games.
Maye has certainly shown a high ceiling, throwing for 374 yards against Las Vegas and 321 against Chicago in his two most recent games.
But with this being on the road and with New England favored by seven points, the Pats may not ask Maye to shoulder a huge workload as a passer.
