Houston's Jon Singleton receives Wednesday off

Houston Astros first baseman Jon Singleton is not starting in Wednesday's game against the Chicago White Sox.

Singleton will take a seat in Chicago after Mauricio Dubon was moved to first base and Cooper Hummel was positioned in left field.

On 113 batted balls this season, Singleton has accounted for a .223 expected average and a 7.1% barrel rate.
