Diamondbacks scratch Gabriel Moreno on Saturday, Tucker Barnhart starting at catcher

Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Gabriel Moreno is not starting in Saturday's game versus the San Diego Padres.

Tucker Barnhart will operate behind the plate and bat ninth in San Diego after Gabriel Moreno was scratched.

On 33 batted balls this season, Barnhart has accounted for a .139 expected average and a 3.0% barrel rate.
