Athletics' Daz Cameron making season debut Thursday
Oakland Athletics outfielder Daz Cameron will start in left field and hit eighth in Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Ryan Feltner and the Colorado Rockies.

The Athletics called Cameron up from Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday as a roster replacement for Esteury Ruiz (wrist). Cameron hasn't played in the majors since 2022 when he was with the Detroit Tigers. Brent Rooker will shift to designated hitter and Abraham Toro will replace Brett Harris on third base.
