Many ifs and buts to ponder, with FLASH GORCOMBE earning the vote following much deliberation. The 8-y-o didn't shape badly on his seasonal reappearance over this C&D and will have every chance provided that the word 'soft' appears in the going description. Noahsgreatrainbow showed something more akin to his useful bumper form over hurdles at Hereford last time and will be a major threat if his jumping passes the test on this chase debut.
