Matches are not usually particularly intriguing but this is an exception, with REGENT'S STROLL and Jeriko du Reponet both very talented hurdlers who are open to improvement in this sphere. The former is preferred on the back of a highly promising chase debut third in the John Francome at Newbury where his exuberance may have ultimately prevented him from justifying strong support. On that evidence the return of the hood will be a good thing.
