NZ - Tauherenikau - Race 7

NOT SO UNUSUAL (4) has yet to run a bad race this season, and she was a determined winner two runs back before finishing a solid third over 1 5/16m at Trentham nearly 5 weeks ago. She is nicely placed to take this out. PSYCLONE (5) was good when runner-up in her penultimate start but failed to fire at Whanganui last time out over a mile after settling well back. She will relish trying a middle distance for the first time, and is set to bounce straight back into the money here. OUR SNIPER (6) is much better than his recent form suggests, and in this field, over a middle distance, he can find some form again. Don't drop him. POUKAWA (8) did well when running on from well back at Otaki 12 days ago. The extra 2 ¼f is key here, and he is worth including in the top 4.
