UPTOWN MONK (6) is a Tagaloa gelding on debut for the Clarken yard and shapes as a ready-made type. A half to the talented SA mare Second To Nun, he looked sharp winning his recent trial and draws to stalk the speed under Crowther. A bright start is firmly on the cards. SAYERSITISN'TSO (5) is an Awesome Rock gelding on debut for the sharp juvenile stable of R & C Jolly. Should be raring to go off the back of some good trial performances. PRESTIGE KA YING (12) is edging closer to a breakthrough and won't be far away again, though she'll need to lift slightly to win this. RATHLIN EXPRESS (4) carries a fitness edge and draws well for the sticking Opperman. Keeping safe. YARRAWIZARDHARRY (8) resumes. Was only sound on debut but is sure to have come on from that. Will need some luck from the draw though.
