Verdict

SO POLITE (10) was desperately unlucky not to shed her maiden tag fresh when missing the bob in town. Sure to have tightened from that and will give herself every chance again up on speed. Can go one better. REOFFER (9) resumes and looks to have come on nicely during the break, stripping fitter for two sharp pieces of work, her latest trial win in particular. Should blend into the race smoothly and prove a handful to hold out. SIMPLY SID (5) has found consistent form, beaten less than a length in his last three. Continues to savage the line and should prove tough to stop if Pannell can use the low draw to settle closer. EMPIRE RULER (4) returns after just one run in his debut campaign where he was solid without threatening. Readied with a quiet jumpout and deserves each-way consideration. EVEN IN AMERICA (7) was a solid jumpout winner in readiness and is worth keeping safe.
