ZUPPA INGLESE (12) is a progressive filly who showed some talent as a late-season juvenile, and then resumed with a bold effort for second when beaten by a neck at Wangaratta 3 weeks ago. The step up from 5 ?f to 7 ?f is the key, and she should go close to winning this, despite copping a wide gate. IMMORTALISED (5) has raced his way into some good form and will step out beyond 6f for the first time. He has a good gate and is worth including in all combinations. POSITIVO (2) ran on strongly late when resuming, and then peaked on his effort late at Seymour 15 days ago when finishing fifth. He will be spot on with his fitness now, and with a drop in class, he can figure in the top 3 this time. LUNAR DREAM (8) won her most recent jumpout, and she will be a lot stronger this season. Each way claims, especially from the good gate. WAVENDON (4) was fourth fresh up at Naracoorte, and is likely to race on pace in this tougher field. He can spice up any top 4 combos.
