Curious move to drop back to 6f, with 6 ½f being the shortest race the five-year-old has contested. Nevertheless, has the talent to test this moderate field. FIGURANTE (6) has been struggling but is rock hard fit now after four runs back and might surprise. WATT ON EARTH (5) resumes. Better over more ground but a strong jump-out at Ballarat recently suggests he can make a positive return. GREEN AMBER (7) ran a cheeky race at Naracoorte last start and Meech is a smart booking if they want to roll along in front again.
