Verdict

CAT NOIR (6) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten 1.75 lengths, over 1m at Sandown-Hillside. This is a step back in grade and she did win at this track the start prior, so no reason she won't be fighting out the finish. MISTER BUSINESSMAN (3) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race when he made late ground and finished 2.75 lengths away in fifth last time out over 7 ¾f at Geelong. Steps up a level but he is good enough to take this out. SUZE SPRITZ (9) showed good early dash and led throughout to score by 1.3 lengths last time out over 7 ?f at Werribee, which made it two wins from the past three and has drawn to play a key role. CACHINK (2) hasn't won for a while but has contested some much tougher races than this and should be primed to peak after three runs back. GEFFINA (7) has been working up to a win and only needs the right run from the wide gate.
