ICY STARS (9) turned in a poor effort by her standards last start but the form prior to that had been solid. Fourth from this row two back at Motukarara and was a close second at Oamaru prior so is worth another chance returning to the grass. CANDY CRUNCH (2) faces the starter for the first time. By Captain Crunch and hails from the Robbie Holmes stable. Should enjoy an economical run from this draw and looks to have some ability based on a recent trial win.
