BLACKJACK (11) is in good form and added to the recent consistency when fourth at his latest appearance at Mt Harding. Cops a tougher draw on the back row but this looks easier so with even luck he could grab a well-deserved win. RAMBLIN ROVER (4) has joined the Matthew Williamson stable since last seen at Gore and he has performed well on grass before. This suits so expect him to pose a serious challenge. BAUTISTA (10) is also high on the list of contenders despite a tough draw as his form reads well, placing two back at Wingatui and getting close to the placegetters last start. EVIDENTLY (3) backs up off a close-up fifth at Rangiora on Sunday. Draws well and was good when runner-up three back at Reefton.
