BRIDAL TRAIN (4) won fresh up at New Plymouth, and then motored home too late when finishing fourth here nearly 4 weeks ago. The step up to a mile for her peak run, and with 4lbs less to carry, she is the one to beat in a small sized field. HARD TOO THINK (7) is a durable veteran who franked some good trial form with a bold effort for second fresh up at Tauherenikau 16 days ago. He drops 8lbs, and also gets Bruni Queiroz in the saddle this time. Stick with him on an each-way basis. HE'S A DOOZY (1) is a very consistent veteran gelding when fit, and he was only narrowly beaten by a head here last time out on this track. This is his pet trip, and he is nearing another win. ELECTRON (2) has been mixing her form, but is unbeaten on this track in 3 starts, including her penultimate start over a mile. She drops back from G2 company, and she will be hard to hold out. RUSTY LANE (3) ran on late for fourth fresh up at Trentham, and he usually improves with more racing. Include in all combos.
