BELLA VIOLETTA (8) has been racing in town and is much better placed in this contest. His numbers stack up, and Faithfull has been engaged. Finally, she draws a half-reasonable gate, and gets her chance. GINGERS SISTER (9) deserved his win here over 1m at this level. Gives away starts, so the step-up to 1 ³/16m should suit. Might be able to sit closer today, and she's a decent chance to go back-to-back. KNOCKONEBACK (3) will find this easier than Ascot and comes back 1 ½f for this. Rates better than the form line suggests and deserves to be kept on side. LORDGIVEMESTRENGTH (6) led them up and won a similar contest here this grade/trip and didn't have the best of it from a wide gate following. She may push forward today, and is a chance to bounce. SKY GOD (1) found the grade too rich last time over longer, but the form here both starts prior over this distance reads well enough.
