ZOOMORPHIC (3) had excuses at his last two outings and assess on the tough on-pace win at Scone three starts back. Comes out of a strong rating contest on the quick backup. LUCKY OZZIE (8) lightly raced gelding who looks a much stronger commodity this time in. At his peak for this from the inside draw after he gripped on late to finish fourth over 7f at Inverell. Gets the right run and expected to go close. VISUALISE (6) up quickly in trip at his second run back when a plugging sixth over 7f at Inverell. No surprise to see him push forward today and take a hand in the finish. AGE OF AQUARIUS (7) back in grade when a most improved second over this trip at Armidale. Trained on the track and represents good value despite drawing awkwardly.

Exacta

A bet selecting the first and second horses in a race in the correct order. An exacta box refers to paying a little more to ensure they can finish in either order.

Claiming Race

A race in which horses are entered for a certain price, or claiming tag, which is also their sales price. An owner can claim any horse entered for the tag before the race begins, and owns them as soon as the gates open.

State-Bred

A horse bred in a particular state and thus eligible to race in restricted state-bred races. These can be anything from maiden races to stakes events.
