Fantasy Football: 3 Tight End Streamer Options for Week 11
Tight end, as the kids say, is a wasteland.
Of all the positions in fantasy football, tight end has consistently been the most volatile. It's gotten to the point where we're lucky to have even a handful of tight ends we can rely on week to week.
This year is no different. Unless you were one of the lucky few to nab a top option at the position, you'll likely be scouring the waiver wire in search of a diamond in the rough.
However, just because you punted on the tight end position doesn't mean you've punted on your team as a whole.
Streaming tight end is a real, and effective, strategy -- you just have to know where to look.
That's where I come in, giving you three tight end streamers to target each and every week of the 2023 NFL season. All of these guys should be available in the majority of 12-team leagues and at the very least possess value for the upcoming week.

Week 11 Tight End Streamers
Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers
It wasn't the greatest performance, but Luke Musgrave's 7.4-point outing was good enough for a TE10 finish in Week 10.
Musgrave caught just two of his four targets but racked up 64 yards and commanded a manageable 12% target share and 19% air yards share.
That outing marked the second consecutive week (and the fourth time this season) that the rookie finished inside the top 10 at the position. In Week 9, he secured three of four targets (16% share) for 51 yards and a touchdown en route to 12.6 half-PPR points.
Musgrave has flashed in spurts this season. He has two games with at least six receptions and has eclipsed 45 yards four times. While the consistency hasn't always been there, Musgrave now owns an impressive 7.7 average depth of target (aDOT) and has run a route on 70% of the Green Bay Packers' dropbacks this season.
Looking ahead, Musgrave and the Packers take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11.
That bodes well for Musgrave's fantasy prospects.
For one, the Chargers have been thrown all over this season. Not only have they given up by far the most passing yards per game (291.2), they sit in the bottom-10 in pressure rate (18.6%) and passer rating allowed (99.0), per Pro Football Reference. That should help the inconsistent Jordan Love.
In turn, LA has been atrocious at defending tight ends. They've surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points per game (11.7) to the position, per FantasyPros, and have let up the fifth-most targets (8.3), second-most receptions (6.6), and second-most yards (68.3) per game.
That puts Musgrave firmly in the streaming conversation even with just one current TE1 on bye.
Chigoziem Okonkwo, Tennessee Titans
A popular preseason sleeper, Chigoziem Okonkwo hasn't quite had the breakout season some expected of him.
At the very least, the 24-year-old is trending in the right direction ahead of Week 11.
Despite running a route on a season-low 53% of dropbacks last week, he saw five targets (14% share) last week. That translated to a 22% target per route run rate (TPRR), his third-highest TPRR of the season. It was the second time in three Will Levis starts that Chig saw a target on at least 22% of his routes.
In general, Levis starting has been good for Okonkwo -- well, it at least projects to be good. He still hasn't finished better than the TE19 in any given week, but he's managed at least 4.2 half-PPR points in all three of Levis' starts after hitting that mark three times total over the first six weeks.
Since Levis took over, Okonkwo's catchable target rate (71% to 79%) and aDOT (7.0 to 8.2) have ticked up. The Tennessee Titans as a whole have looked more fantasy-friendly with Levis under center. They're averaging 308.0 yards and 64.3 plays per game over the last three weeks compared to 285.0 yards and 54.3 plays over the first six weeks.
That should translate to more fantasy production from Okonkwo, perhaps as soon as Week 11. Okonkwo squares off with the Jacksonville Jaguars this week, who are fresh off allowing 116 yards and a score to George Kittle. Chig isn't George Kittle, but the Jags have bled fantasy points to tight ends all season. They've given up the most fantasy points (12.6), the fourth-most yards (65.2), and the sixth-most targets (8.2) per game to the position.
He's not the flashiest name, but Okonkwo has a decent floor and sneaky-high ceiling in Week 11.
Tyler Conklin, New York Jets
Tyler Conklin enters the Monday night game as this week's TE5 thanks to his best fantasy performance of the season.
Conklin caught all seven of his targets for 70 yards in Week 10. That comes just a week after he caught all six of his targets for 66 yards in Week 9.
If that trend follows suit, he's in store for eight receptions for 80-something yards in Week 11, right?
Probably not, but it's not out of the question. Over the last two weeks, Conklin has posted a 17% target share and an impressive 10-yard aDOT. Although he ran a route on just 63% of dropbacks last week (his lowest since Week 4), he was targetted on a season-high 28% of his routes.
That puts him in the streaming conversation ahead of Week 11's bout with the Buffalo Bills. From Weeks 6-9, Buffalo let up the fourth-highest target rate (22.1%), the ninth-most yards per route run (1.65), and the fifth-most fantasy points (55.9) to opposing tight ends.
The matchup, coupled with his utilization uptick, makes Conklin a decent desperation start in Week 11.
