The Minnesota Timberwolves listed Kyle Anderson as a starter for Game 2 of their Western Conference Semi-Finals series against the Denver Nuggets.
What It Means
With Gobert away from the team, the Wolves will turn to Anderson to help fill out the starting five. A hip injury limited Anderson in the Timberwolves' series against the Suns in the first round and he only played 12 minutes in Game 1 against Denver, so he could still play a limited role tonight despite getting the start. Our model projects him for 22.3 FanDuel points across 25.2 minutes of action, with 6.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists.
With Anderson in the starting lineup, it looks like Naz Reid will continue operating as the Timberwolves' sixth man. He's projected for 33.7 FanDuel points off the bench and could still be in for an elevated role with Gobert absent.
