Wisconsin Bowl Game History

Wisconsin has been a mainstay during bowl season in recent years. The Badgers have played in 34 bowls across the school's history and in 21 consecutive years.

The Badgers made their first bowl appearance in 1953. Their first win came in 1982, a 14-3 victory over Kansas State in the Independence Bowl.

The Badgers' current stretch of 21 straight bowl games is one of the highest in the nation. Their most recent postseason appearance was in 2022, when they defeated Oklahoma State 24-17 in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.
