Viviane Araujo and Amanda Ribas face off at UFC 285 with something to prove as each fighter enters Saturday night coming off a loss. Araujo fell to Alexa Grasso via unanimous decision in October and Ribas was defeated by Katlyn Chookagian via split decision in May. Getting back in the win column is key.

Araujo enters ranked No. 8 in UFC women's Flyweight rankings and is facing a fighter who is a natural strawweight. That should line her up as the favorite, but it's worth keeping in mind that Araujo is seven years older than Ribas and her strength relies on her ground game. That's something Ribas can match.

In fact, Ribas averages more takedowns (2.19) and submission attempts (1.2) per 15 minutes than Araujo does (2.03 & 0.5). With each fighter being able to compete well in wrestling, this match could be determined via strikes. Araujo's strike defense rate of 56% pales in comparison to Ribas' 70%.
