VIDEO: Remembering Vince Wilfork's Insane First Career Interception Against Philip Rivers
Updated:
Vince Wilfork was often an unsung hero anchoring the middle of the New England Patriots defense, but he was always a fan favorite.
That's part of why it was so exciting to see him get a chance to shine with the ball in his hands in 2011.
Not only was the interception incredible, batting a Philip Rivers pass and having the coordination to reel it in on the run, but the return was insanely impressive.
Wilfork was listed at 325 pounds with the Patriots, but there's a good chance he was well north of that number. Even still, he had the speed to run this one back 36 yards down the sideline.
This was the first interception of his career, but he went on to record one more in 2011, and another in 2014.
