Top Fantasy Football Streaming Kickers for Week 9
Updated:
Kickers were busy across the league in Week 8. That led to some big performances, including several from names available on the waiver wire.
Kicker being one of the most high-variance positions in fantasy football makes it the perfect spot to stream. With that in mind, here are our top fantasy football streaming kickers for Week 9.
Streaming Kickers Fantasy Football Week 9
3. Michael Badgley (vs GB)
The Lions may have found their starting kicker for years to come. Michael Badgley has made each of his field goal attempts (8) as well as each of his extra point attempts (3) since being added to the roster in Week 4. He draws a great matchup in Week 9 as the Packers have allowed five of the eight kickers they have faced to score at least 9 fantasy points. Overall, Green Bay is giving up the 11th-most fantasy points to the position. Keep in mind the Lions still rank as the ninth-highest scoring offense in the NFL (24.7 points per game). Badgley is the perfect bye week fill-in for fantasy managers rostering someone like Graham Gano or Brett Maher.
2. Jason Sanders (@ CHI)
After racking up 8 fantasy points as The Duel's top streaming option in Week 8, Jason Sanders finds himself right back in consideration for Week 9. The Dolphins' offense is firing on all cylinders right now and it is working in Sanders' favor. The 26-year-old has attempted 12 field goals over the last five weeks and knocked down 9 of them. Keep in mind his only three misses all came from beyond 50 yards. The Bears just gave up a whopping 49 points to the Dallas Cowboys and allow 315.3 yards of offense per game this season (No. 27 in NFL) Miami should have no trouble moving the football on Sunday, leading to a ton of scoring chances.
1. Harrison Butker (vs TEN)
Harrison Butker may not feel like a streaming option due to the fact that he has finished as a top-13 fantasy kicker in each of the last five NFL seasons. However, he is only owned in 50% of Yahoo! leagues after an early injury forced many managers to drop him. Butker has been back on the field for two games now, nailing all 8 of his extra points attempts as well as 2 of his 4 field goal attempts. The Chiefs are set to face a Titans' defense on Sunday that allows a touchdown on only 52.4% of its opponent's red zone opportunities (No. 13 in NFL). Stalled drives would mean more field goals for Butker.
