The 2022-23 NBA season concludes on Sunday with 15 games, including a battle between the Memphis Grizzlies and Oklahoma City Thunder. The Grizzlies rank second in the Western Conference with a 51-30 record, while the Thunder check in 10th with a 39-42 record. This should be a good one.

Memphis enters as a victor in 10 of its last 13 games following a 137-114 thrashing of the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday. Meanwhile, Oklahoma City snapped a three-game losing streak with a 114-98 win over the Utah Jazz on Thursday. Which team will end the regular season with a victory on Sunday?

Thunder vs. Grizzlies Prediction & Pick

It's worth noting right off the bat that neither one of these teams is throwing out a typical starting lineup. The Grizzlies will be without Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Dillon Brooks. On the other side, the Thunder will be without stat leaders Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey.

In a battle of backups, side with the Grizzlies as their bench unit is much stronger than that of the Thunder. Tyus Jones has stepped up when called upon to start this year, averaging 16.1 points and 8.1 assists (16 games). Luke Kennard also ranks first in three-point percentage in the NBA (49.4%).

Memphis has won eight of its last 11 games against OKC, too, so back the Grizzlies on the road.

inal Score Prediction: Thunder: 110 | Grizzlies: 115

Thunder vs. Grizzlies Best Bet

This game features one of the highest totals on Sunday's slate and a big reason why is both OKC and Memphis rank among the top five in pace. However, that is when the big guns are in the lineup as Morant is dishing out assists and Gilgeous-Alexander is draining jump shots. That won't happen now.

It's hard to dive into trends and statistics considering the amount of talent that will on the sideline and not on the court. The ones suiting up for action are either going to be trying not to get hurt or show they can simply hold their own in the NBA. Both of those instances point to a low-scoring showdown.

Bet: Under 229.5 Total Points (-110)
