Clemson is 20-0 in their last 20 home games, and at the start of the season this looked like an easy win. Syracuse has some good wins with a dominating 31-7 victory over Louisville showing a strong, balanced offensive attack.

Then Syracuse held off Purdue's 400+ passing yards to beat the Boilermakers late, 32-29. Last week's 24-9 win against NC State was another balanced offensive performance with nearly 400 yards - which was more than Clemson managed in a 30-20 home win over NC State two weeks earlier.

This is not a dominant Clemson team. The Tigers showed holes on defense against Wake Forest allowing 45 points in a fortunate OT win.
