Sergio Garcia U.S. Open Prediction 2023
Sergio Garcia may be past his prime, but it's hard to ignore the success he has found at the U.S. Open in the past. The 43-year-old has made the cut in 18 of his 23 all-time appearances, logging 10 top-20 finishes and four top-10 finishes. He knows what it takes to keep up with the rest of the competition.
More 2023 U.S. Open betting content from The Duel:
Garcia has been notably playing well during his stint with LIV Golf as well. He has posted a top-30 finish in five of his seven invitationals played and even finished as the runner-up in Singapore in April after losing in a playoff. The Spaniard's experience is something that makes him worth backing here.
While I don't expect Garcia to make a run for the title at the Los Angeles Country Club, I do expect him to make the cut (-108). He has long been praised as an elite ball-striker and that skill set will come in handy on a course that features wide fairways, as Garcia will be able to put himself in great situations.
