Sergio Garcia Masters Prediction 2023
Despite being one of the former Masters winners in this year's field, Sergio Garcia has a lot to prove. After all, he's rarely found success since taking home his first green jacket. He missed the cut in the three subsequent outings following that victory before placing T23 in 2022. In other words, golf enthusiasts wonder if last year's performance was a return to form or an anomaly.
More 2023 Masters betting content from The Duel:
Garcia is also one of the many golfers who defected to LIV Golf last year. While his 2022 campaign was solid, he's seen mixed results this year. He placed 26th at Mayakoba and ninth at Tucson before finishing 45th at Orlando over the weekend. Hardly the type of results to inspire confidence.
I just don't have faith in the veteran golfer to accomplish much at Augusta National this year. After missing the cut in 13 of his last 19 major tournaments, I'd stay away from him completely from a betting perspective. However, if you're set on wagering some money, a Sergio Garcia top-40 finish at -110 odds is the only bet worth considering.
