Bowl season is underway after an exciting 2022 college football campaign. One successful program taking part in the festivieis is the Penn State Nittany Lions, who will face Utah in the Rose Bowl on Monday, Jan. 2.

Penn State Bowl Game History
Penn State has frequented the college football postseason throughout its history. The Nittany Lions have played in 51 bowls prior to facing Utah.
The Nittany Lions made their first bowl appearance in 1923, falling to USC in the Rose Bowl 14-3.
Penn State has also won two of their last four bowl appearances. Most recently, the Nittany Lions lost to Arkansas 24-10 in last year's Outback Bowl.
