Patrick Mahomes Gives Hilarious Quote on Tom Brady Retirement

The Kansas City Chiefs put up an impressive performance on Sunday Night Football in Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, coming away with a 41-31 victory in Tampa.

However, the big win wasn't the only storyline in the game, it was yet another matchup between Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady, two QBs considered by many to be the best in the game today. While Mahomes is just entering his prime, Brady continues to defy logic and is still a successful and effective quarterback at age 45.

Given Brady's age, you never know when he's going to retire and there's always a chance he's facing someone for the last time. Mahomes had a hilarious response alluding to this when the topic came up during his postgame presser.

Given that the two play in separate conferences now, this in all likelihood will be their last regular-season meeting. There's always a chance they'll meet up in the Super Bowl again, however, as Kansas City has the second-best title odds on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds (+700) while Tampa Bay is fifth at +1000.

Only time will tell if we do get another Brady-Mahomes battle, but even if we don't, they've already delivered some unforgettable games.
