Week 7 of the 2022 NFL season is here, bringing even more exciting football matchups. One matchup to keep an eye on is a meeting between the Green Bay Packers and Washington Commanders. The Packers enter this one after back-to-back losses, while the Commanders snapped a four-game losing skid with a win over the Chicago Bears last week.

Can the Packers put an end to their losing ways with their second road win of the year? Or will the Commanders do the unthinkable by beating Green Bay for the first time since 2018?

According to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds, the Packers are a clear -225 favorite on the moneyline (4.5-point spread) in a game with an over/under of 41.5.

After losing to the New York Jets and Giants, the Packers are searching for answers. Though the Commanders are the perfect team for a bounce-back win on paper, getting off to a promising start might be tougher now that Aaron Rodgers will be without both Christian Watson and Randall Cobb.

The Packers' offense might be shorthanded, but the Commanders are in rough shape too. For starters, Washington has been held to a league-worst 13 points per game over the last three weeks. This situation will decline even further now that backup QB Taylor Heinicke is in for the injured Carson Wentz.

The Commanders are also tied for the fifth-most interceptions this season with six. While the Packers' defense hasn't been as good as expected, the unit should still see several opportunities to get the ball back into Rodgers' hands.

Even with the Packers' struggles, it doesn't get much more favorable than a matchup with the Commanders. Throw in the fact that Rodgers hasn't lost three starts in a row since 2018 and I'm expecting Green Bay to get back on track here.

I'll take the Packers at -4.5 on the spread, as well as the total hitting under 41.5 points. After all, the total has hit the under in five of Green Bay's last seven games, as well as in seven of Washington's last eight home outings.
