Opening Odds Released for Eagles vs Giants Divisional Round Game

Updated:

The New York Giants are coming off a huge win in Minnesota when they defeated the Vikings, 31-24, to move on to a Divisional Round matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles sat out Wild Card Weekend after earning a first-round bye as the NFC's No. 1 seed with a 14-3 regular-season record..

This sets up the third matchup this season between these NFC East rivals, both of which Philly won in Weeks 14 and 18. Not surprisingly, the Eagles are considerable favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook's opening odds.

Giants vs Eagles Opening Odds

Philadelphia is listed as a 7.5-point favorite against New York on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds. Not only are the Eagles rested and at home, but they also have recent regular-season history on their side.

Then again, that didn't stop the Giants in the Wild Card Round, when they won as road underdogs against a Vikings team that had beaten them earlier in the season. Daniel Jones stepped up with one of his best games in recent memory, so if he can do that again then anything is possible, especially if Jalen Hurts still isn't 100% after suffering a late-season shoulder injury.
