National Treasure Belmont Stakes Prediction and Pick
National Treasure was able to get the lead in the Preakness and carve out very slow fractions, leaving plenty left in the tank to hold off the late-charging Blazing Sevens. He'll be the pace-setter in the Belmont Stakes, and even if he's unable to hold up over the grueling 1 1/2 mile distance there is still a good chance he can hit the board or complete the superfecta.
This son of Quality Road can still move forward off the Preakness win but has more very competitive horses and runners to beat in the Belmont. This colt is capable of hitting the board and there is no denying the strong jockey/trainer strengths coming into the race.
