One of the most prestigious events in golf, the U.S. Open has the ability to launch any golfer's career to new heights. Mito Pereira is one of the many competitors who's never won the tournament before, but he hopes to change that at this year's event.

Here's everything you need to know about Mito Pereira's U.S. Open odds and history heading into the 2023 event.

Mito Pereira U.S. Open Prediction 2023

It's no secret that Mito Pereira's U.S. Open results are lacking. The Chilean competitor has only entered the major tournament twice, failing to make the cut in both years.

More 2023 U.S. Open coverage on The Duel:

After beginning the 2022-23 golf season with the PGA, Pereira switch to LIV Golf back in February. He's done well there as a part of Torque GC, placing sixth or better in four of his last six outings. He also competed at the Masters and PGA Championship, finishing T43 and T18, respectively.

I'll play things safe here by taking a Mito Pereira top-40 finish at -115 odds. He's been playing some decent golf since switching to the LIV tour, but it's hard to forget about his previous U.S. Open shortcomings. He could have a decent showing, but expecting too much from him could be risky.
