After last night's loss, the Mets are counting on starting pitcher Max Scherzer to help get them back in the win column. The three-time Cy Young winner has risen to the occasion lately, going 4-0 with a 3.21 ERA in his last seven starts. He also allowed one or fewer runs in five of those starts while racking up 48 strikeouts in his last 42 innings.

It'll be interesting to see what the Phillies' Cristopher Sanchez does on the mound. The 26-year-old has spent the majority of the campaign injured with today's game only being his third start of the year.
