Matthew Fitzpatrick PGA Championship Prediction 2023
Matthew Fitzpatrick's PGA Championship history is mixed, to say the least. He's finished T41 or worse five times in seven previous showings, even missing the cut thrice. Having said that, he's played well in his last two appearances, placing T23 in 2021 before a career-best T5 placement last year.

Fitzpatrick has also experienced various highs and lows during the 2022-23 golf season. He's tallied a trio of top-10 finishes, highlighted by his beating Jordan Spieth in a playoff to win the RBC Heritage. At the same time, Fitzpatrick has missed the cut four times and just finished T35 at the Wells Fargo Championship.
Between his past PGA Championship history and his play this season, I'm having issues trusting Fitzpatrick to make a deep run. Yes, his T5 showing was impressive last year, but it seems like it was an outlier performance. He's still capable of making some noise, but I can't recommend anything more than a Fitzpatrick top-20 finish at +110 odds.
