Justin Shorter NFL Combine Results, Measurements and 40-Yard Dash Time
Updated:
Florida's Justin Shorter is far from a top wide receiver prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft, which makes the scouting combine especially important for his stock. A strong performance could mean the difference between going undrafted and having his name called on draft day.
Here's everything you need to know about Shorter's NFL combine performance, measurements and results.
Justin Shorter Height, Weight & Hand Size
Ahead of the combine, Justin Shorter is listed at 6-foot-5 and 228 pounds. The Gators standout has the size to shield defenders from the quarterback and provide a huge catch radius, which makes him an easy target. He'll look to show he has what it takes to compete with a great outing at the combine.
This section will be updated with his official combine measurements as they become available.
Justin Shorter 40-Yard Dash Time
Shorter's 40-yard dash shouldn't do too much to impact his draft stock as he is projected to post a time around the 4.5-second mark, although it remains to be seen where he officially clocks in at. That is reportedly exactly what he ran during practice with Florida last summer and it checks in right around the all-time average for wide receivers. We'll update this section when Justin Shorter's 40 time becomes official at the combine.
Justin Shorter 3-Cone Time
We will update this space as soon as Justin Shorter's 3-cone time at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine is revealed. The wide receiver position is scheduled to have its workouts on Saturday, March 4.
Justin Shorter Broad and Vertical Jump
Excelling in the broad jump and vertical jump drills is crucial for wide receivers as the position is regularly called upon to create separation and contest for jump balls. We'll update this space as soon as Justin Shorter's results at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine are revealed.

Justin Shorter Scouting Report & Draft Stock
Shorter's size is going to initially drive scouts his way as he could even move to the tight end position if need be. He will need to ball out at the combine to keep those scouts around, though. Shorter ran a limited route tree at Florida and never posted more than 577 yards or 3 touchdowns in a single year. Shorter lines up as a solid red zone option at the NFL level and proved that he can haul in contested catches at Florida. It'll be compelling to see if that's enough for his dream of being drafted to come true.
