The Jaguars' defenders have been a force this season, surrendering only 16.0 points per game (T-No. 4) while amassing nine takeaways (T-No. 5). That could be bad news for the Colts' Matt Ryan-led offense, which has turned the ball over 11 times (No. 3) while producing an NFL-worst 13.8 PPG.

Even though the Colts beat the Broncos last week, nine points in regulation likely won't be good enough to get it done against the Jaguars. There's also the fact that Indianapolis starting RB Jonathan Taylor still hasn't returned to practice as of Thursday morning, leaving his Week 6 status up in the air.

It's also important to point out that, despite years of mediocrity, the Jaguars have actually won four of their last six games against the Colts. That includes each of the last two meetings by a combined score of 50-11.

With there being no guarantee of Taylor playing this week, it's hard to have faith in the Colts after the struggles Ryan has displayed under center. This game could go either way, but Indianapolis' injuries have me siding with Jacksonville.
