All three highlighted drafts project Hardy as a late first-round pick. It never hurts to have too much guard depth and that's something the Denver Nuggets learned when Jamal Murray missed the entire 2021-22 NBA season with a torn ACL. Drafting Hardy would give them some extra help in case Murray isn't ready to go when the new campaign begins.

Instead of taking the collegiate path to the NBA, Hardy opted to play with the G League Ignite last season. Although his efficiency was far from great, the fact that he averaged 17.7 points against experience men shouldn't be taken lightly. It'll be interesting to see if he can be productive at the NBA level, but he's so far shown that he has the potential to be a starter one day.
