Georgia Southern is a recent participant when it comes to the college football postseason. The Eagles have played in five bowls across the school's history.

The Eagles made their first bowl appearance in 2015 as a part of the Mid-American Conference. They ended up picking up a 58-27 blowout win tie against Bowling Green in the GoDaddy Bowl that year.

Including the 2022 campaign, Georgia Southern has qualified for bowls in five of the last eight seasons. The Eagles were defeated in their last effort, losing 23-21 to Buffalo in the 2022 Camellia Bowl.
