Saints Week 1 Opponent for 2023 Season
The New Orleans Saints' Week 1 matchup for the 2023 campaign is a home game against the Tennessee Titans. Last season, they opened with a road game against the rival Atlanta Falcons. It was a close-fought matchup, but the Saints stood tall when the dust settled, walking out of Mercedes-Benz Stadium with the 27-26 victory.
Saints' 2023 Strength of Schedule
According to Sharp Football Analysis, the Saints have the easiest schedule in the NFL for the 2023-24 campaign. This is based on the projected win totals of New Orleans' opponents for the upcoming season. Things look promising for the Saints as four teams made the playoffs last year with a bottom-10 schedule in terms of difficulty.
The Saints' 2023-24 opponents went a combined 100-135-3 last season. The Minnesota Vikings are the only team they'll face that finished with a double-digit win total (13) during the 2022-23 campaign.

FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds currently list the Saints at 9.5 wins, with +106 on the over and -132 on the under. While New Orleans has finished with 10-plus wins in four of the past six seasons, they've missed the marks in each of the last two.
Although the Under is favored on the Saints' 2023 win total, finishing with 10-plus victories isn't out of the question. A big part of last year's shortcomings had to do with a lethargic offense. Now that Derek Carr is under center with weapons like Alvin Kamara, Chris Olave, and Michael Thomas around him, New Orleans shouldn't have issues scoring the football. With their being in the NFC's weakest division, I'd be surprised if the Saints don't rack up the wins.
Bet – Saints: Over 9.5 Wins (+106)
In the Super Bowl market, the Saints currently are in sole possession of the 14th-best odds at +3500. Those odds rank first among NFC South teams as well as fifth-best in the NFC as a whole.
