Crosstown Cup USC vs UCLA Prediction and Odds 2022
Both USC and UCLA have been among the best teams in the nation this fall. Having said that, the Trojans have a slight offensive edge, averaging the third-most points in the nation (42.4 PPG). The Bruins aren't too far behind (38.9 PPG, No. 8), but there are concerns after they were held to 28 points in their loss to the sub-.500 Arizona Wildcats last week.
USC is also 16-6 in the last 22 matchups in this rivalry while winning seven of its last 11 trips to the Rose Bowl. With a three-game winning streak also giving them some extra momentum, the Trojans seem primed to win this matchup.

Crosstown Cup History
USC and UCLA have faced off 91 times since their first meeting in 1929. This has been a fairly one-sided rivalry, though, with the USC notching 51 wins to UCLA's 33. There have also been seven ties in the series.
Recent history has favored the Trojans, who've won five of the last seven meetings between these Pac-12 rivals. However, it was the Bruins who were victorious in last year's 62-33 high-scoring affair, leaving time to tell if history will repeat itself.
